Steps from Quattro Canti, in Palermo’s historic centre, FARM is housed in the former Collegio dei Crociferi and its beautiful cloister. It is home to the Museum of the Cities of the World, exploring cities as humanity’s greatest collective creation.
A pochi passi dai Quattro Canti, nel centro storico di Palermo, FARM ha sede nell’ex Collegio dei Crociferi e nel suo splendido chiostro. Qui si trova il Museo delle Città del Mondo, dedicato alle città come più grande creazione collettiva dell’umanità.
Favara | Farm Cultural Park
The Seven Courtyards, a Sicilian Casbah of linked courtyards, host small buildings, Arabic-style gardens, and cultural spaces alongside residents’ homes. Here live a few locals, including the aunts Antonia and Rosa, and Vito, in a unique blend of community and art.
I Sette Cortili, una casbah siciliana di cortili collegati, ospitano piccoli edifici, giardini in stile arabo e spazi culturali accanto alle abitazioni dei residenti. Qui vivono alcuni abitanti del luogo, tra cui le zie Antonia e Rosa e Vito, in un connubio unico di comunità e arte.
Mazzarino | Palazzo Tortorici e The Embassy of Farm
A stately owned noble palace abandoned for 25 years has been transformed into a surprising place of art, culture, education and research. The first floor houses exhibitions and installations, the second floor a Magazine Library and an stage space and the third floor a laboratory space with kitchen and roof top.
Un elegante palazzo nobiliare di proprietà statale, abbandonato per 25 anni, è stato trasformato in un sorprendente luogo di arte, cultura, educazione e ricerca. Il primo piano ospita mostre e installazioni, il secondo una emeroteca e uno spazio teatrale, mentre il terzo piano accoglie un laboratorio con cucina e terrazza panoramica.
Agrigento | Ex Carcere San Vito
The opening of Farm Cultural Park in Agrigento’s former San Vito Prison marks a new era of urban regeneration. After 30 years of closure, it is now a vibrant hub for art, creativity, and social innovation, reviving a symbolic space and attracting global creatives and visitors.
L’apertura di Farm Cultural Park nell’ex carcere di San Vito ad Agrigento segna una nuova era di rigenerazione urbana. Dopo 30 anni di chiusura, questo luogo è ora un vivace centro di arte, creatività e innovazione sociale, che restituisce vita a uno spazio simbolico e attira creativi e visitatori da tutto il mondo.
Art as a Political Act
We are not neutral.
We live in a time marked by senseless wars, forced migrations, growing inequalities, and an escalating climate crisis. In this context, we believe that making culture is a profoundly political act. We work to give voice to the voiceless, to spread awareness, to activate critical citizenship, and to educate new generations capable of imagining and building brave, concrete alternatives. We are not afraid to take a stand—even when it’s uncomfortable—on the crucial issues of our time: peace, freedom, dignity, social justice, and the defense of human rights. For us, standing on the right side of history means rejecting indifference. It means taking action.

Non siamo neutrali. Viviamo in un tempo segnato da guerre insensate, migrazioni forzate, crescenti disuguaglianze e da una crisi climatica in costante aggravamento. In questo contesto, crediamo che fare cultura sia un atto profondamente politico. Lavoriamo per dare voce a chi non ne ha, per diffondere consapevolezza, per attivare una cittadinanza critica e per educare nuove generazioni capaci di immaginare e costruire alternative coraggiose e concrete. Non abbiamo paura di prendere posizione — anche quando è scomodo — sulle questioni cruciali del nostro tempo: pace, libertà, dignità, giustizia sociale e difesa dei diritti umani. In 2017, Farm Cultural Park was selected by the U.S.-based Curry Stone Foundation as one of the world's 100 leading organizations in the Social Design Circle, honoring projects that have created outstanding social impact through design and community regeneration.In 2021, FARM was awarded the Grand Prize of the Human City Design Award by the Seoul Metropolitan Government for Countless Cities, recognized as one of the world's most significant examples of urban regeneration through art, design, and community engagement.
Nel 2017 la statunitense Curry Stone Foundation ha inserito Farm Cultural Park tra le 100 organizzazioni al mondo del Social Design Circle, selezionando i progetti che hanno prodotto il maggiore impatto sociale attraverso il design e la rigenerazione delle comunità. Nel 2021 FARM ha ricevuto il Grand Prize dell'Human City Design Award della Città Metropolitana di Seoul per il progetto Countless Cities, riconosciuto come uno dei più significativi esempi internazionali di rigenerazione urbana guidata dall'arte, dal design e dalla partecipazione delle comunità.

COUNTLESS CITIES Biennale delle Città del Mondo
Countless Cities is the Biennale of World Cities created by Farm Cultural Park. Every two years, cities from across the globe are invited to present themselves through exhibitions, installations, and artistic interventions. The Biennale is not just a cultural event, but a platform for dialogue and reflection on the future of urban life, addressing crucial themes such as social justice, climate change, migration, and new forms of community. By bringing together artists, architects, activists, and citizens, Countless Cities transforms Palermo and Favara into laboratories of imagination, where alternative visions of the city can emerge and inspire change worldwide.
Countless Cities 2027
We are living through a time of profound global instability. Democracies are under increasing pressure, civil rights are being eroded, and armed conflicts alongside the climate crisis are reshaping borders, migration, and inequality. In this context, cities are no longer merely places where social life unfolds; they have become the primary arenas where the possibilities for freedom, peace, and human dignity are negotiated and defended. Countless Cities 2027 is born from a fundamental question: what role can cities play today in defending freedom, fostering prospects for peace, and safeguarding the right to inhabit a world marked by global disorder? The Biennial is conceived as an international platform for research, dialogue, and civic imagination. It is not dedicated to the world's most successful or iconic cities, but to the cities that resist, that welcome, and that experiment with new ways of caring for people in an era defined by multiple, interconnected crises.
Viviamo in un tempo di instabilità globale profonda. Le democrazie sono sotto pressione, i diritti civili vengono erosi, i conflitti armati e le crisi climatiche ridisegnano confini, migrazioni e disuguaglianze. In questo scenario, le città non sono più semplici contenitori della vita sociale, ma diventano il principale spazio in cui si giocano le possibilità di libertà, pace e dignità umana. Countless Cities 2027 nasce da una domanda radicale: che ruolo possono avere oggi le città nel difendere la libertà, costruire prospettive di pace e garantire il diritto ad abitare in un mondo attraversato dal disordine globale? La Biennale si configura come una piattaforma internazionale di ricerca e immaginazione civica, non dedicata alle città vincenti o iconiche, ma alle città che resistono, che accolgono, che sperimentano nuovi modi di prendersi cura delle persone in un contesto segnato da crisi multiple e interconnesse.
Radical SHE
Women Quadriennal of Art and Society
Radical SHE is the Women Quadriennal of Art and Society initiated by Farm Cultural Park. Every four years, it brings together women artists, thinkers, activists, and cultural producers from around the world to share their visions, works, and struggles. Radical SHE is both an art exhibition and a civic forum, exploring the intersection of gender, culture, and social transformation. By amplifying women’s voices and perspectives, it fosters new narratives of empowerment and equality, inspiring change across societies and generations.

Abbiamo tutto manca il resto is a multidisciplinary project by Farm Cultural Park exploring the paradoxes of contemporary society. Through exhibitions, talks, and community actions, it investigates the tension between material abundance and the lack of meaning, relationships, and collective visions. The project invites artists, intellectuals, and citizens to rethink priorities and imagine new models of happiness and coexistence beyond consumption and superficial well-being.

From 19 July to 1 September I’ll be artist-in-residence at Camera Fibra × Museo delle Città del Mondo in Palermo.
During the residency I’ll be developing ONLY FANS, a month-long evolving exhibition that reimagines an everyday appliance - the electric fan - through installation, sound, moving image and experimentation.
Using airflow as both material and metaphor, during the residency I will explore the fan as an object of intimacy, performance and desire.
The exhibition opens on Sunday 19 July at 6:30 pm at Museo delle Città del Mondo. Everyone is welcome.

Dal 19 luglio al 1° settembre sarò artista in residenza presso Camera Fibra × Museo delle Città del Mondo a Palermo.
Durante la residenza svilupperò ONLY FANS, una mostra in continua evoluzione, che reinterpreta un comune elettrodomestico come il ventilatore elettrico, attraverso installazioni, sperimentazione, suono e immagini in movimento.
Usando il flusso d’aria come materia e metafora, la mostra esplora il ventilatore come oggetto di intimità, performance e desiderio. L’inaugurazione sarà domenica 19 luglio alle ore 18:30 presso il Museo delle Città del Mondo. Tutti sono benvenuti. Se siete a Palermo nelle prossime settimane, sapete già che farà caldo... quindi passate a trovarmi, venite a salutare, fatevi accarezzare dal vento, rinfrescatevi e scoprite come la mostra prende forma.

Do you want to land Farm in your Town? After bringing, throughout Italy, vital organs of Farm such as Sou, the School of Architecture for boys (in September there will be 25 SOUs throughout Italy) and Prime Minister, School of Politics for young women (currently 13 throughout Italy), Farm has decided to bring Farm to other cities, in collaboration with municipalities, universities, companies, foundations and philanthropic bodies or a group of active citizens; anyone can apply to host Farms in their city.
Vuoi portare Farm nella tua città? Dopo aver diffuso in tutta Italia organi vitali di Farm come Sou, la Scuola di Architettura per bambini (a settembre saranno 25 le SOU in Italia) e Prime Minister, la Scuola di Politica per giovani donne (attualmente 13 in Italia), Farm ha deciso di portare Farm anche in altre città, in collaborazione con amministrazioni comunali, università, aziende, fondazioni, enti filantropici o gruppi di cittadini attivi. Chiunque può candidarsi per ospitare una Farm nella propria città.

Perché in questi 15 anni Farm ha dimostrato che, con l’aiuto delle comunità e di persone che credono nella cultura, tutto è possibile. Abbiamo rigenerato luoghi abbandonati. Abbiamo portato arte e cultura dove spesso mancavano. Abbiamo costruito una comunità internazionale di artisti, architetti, attivisti, bambini e sognatori.
